I was very excited to find somewhere that served traditional mexican. The tamale were soo good - spicy pork was my fav but you have to try them all!

Tamales are some of my favourite foods having lived in the the south west US for many years, and so I was really looking forward to coming to this place. It didn’t disappoint! I was excited because most things were gluten free. The banana leave tamale was slightly different to the corn husk ones I was used to, it was more moist, but still quite flavourful. The highlight was the tlacoyo. Corn chips were crunchy and of ideal thickness, however, I thought the guacamole didn’t taste fresh. I doused my food in the unlimited salsa, that was quite good too. There are very limited choices in Sydney for authentic Mexican food, so I’m glad I found somewhere decent. Will come again to try the other dishes.

I’ve never been to Mexico but this place seems authentic. The tacos were nice and flavourful, but we still added good amount of salsa to make them spicy. I’ve never had a tamal before yesterday so can’t really tell if it was not that great or just not too much to my liking. All in all I would come again to try more things like the chicken mole and enchiladas

One of the few places in Sydney you can get a good tamale. Tacos were good and really holdable, the corn tortillas were really soft and has a good corn taste. My first time having horchata as well, was refreshing and delicious.
Not the cheapest but it really reflects the quality of the food.

It's so cute and cosy. It feels like you're in Mexico. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We ordered a few dishes and enjoyed all, also bought frozen VEGAN chorizo to take home :)
